NICE N STURDY.LOVE EM.The rivets on/in handles are already loosening and I've only washed them twice, and neither time In a dishwasher. It doest seemed to be made as sturdy as I thought it would be. Still doesn't slide as easy under food for turning as I thought it would. Thank you.Makes my daily cooking betterI like the shape, handles, sturdiness of the fish spatulas. I have the Rachel Ray brand nylon fish spatulas, but they aren't always strong enough for heavy items. I wanted the metal ones like I see used by chefs on TV. The smaller one is great, but the larger one has started to have rust spots after washing which shouldn't happen with stainless steel. Unfortunately, it didn't happen while it was still in the return window. These are advertised as ' Commercial Grade', whatever that means, it does imply able to do any job needed that it was designed for. I can attest these are capable spatulas: metal is thick not flimsy and cheap. Wood handles are rivited soundly and don't get hot with use. The angled blade tip has had favorable comments in my home. I expect the wood over time become less natural, but no idea how durable compared to real hardwoods. The best thing is you get two for a reasonable price of one! These are perfect for things that are just a little too large for my regular spatulas. The build id solid and I chose the black plastic as I'm planning to put them in the dishwasher. Good value as BBB has similar items at twice the cost per spatula. Unlike my knives, I wasn't planning lots of TLC so this was the perfect value. When I bought these, I already own another set of fish spatulas. However, those ones lacked three things that these have: 1) riveted handles for sturdiness and longevity; 2) a beveled edge on the front of the blade; 3) a hole at the end of the handle for hanging. After owning these for some time now, I can say that it was worth getting these just for the inclusion of these very useful features. Now, I wouldn't ever buy a set without them!I purchased these to use when I cook my fish and they worked perfectly that I tried it on some eggs the small one worked well on flipping my fried eggs. Really like that I have the option to use either the large or smaller spatula. They are easy to clean and sturdy Stainless Steel. Great item and would recommend these to anyone who cooks and is looking for good spatula.
