Made entirely of stainless steel which is best for cleanup, and makes for a long lasting implement.The spatula front is thick and ‘catches’ on the pan. The spatula is terrible for pans. Might be OK for rough surfaces like grills but that was not what I needed it for. Regrettable purchase unfortunately. Bought a replacement from Bed Bath and Beyond after examining the new spatula.I was happy once i opened the package and held the turner as it is indeed very solid and has a good heft to it. But once i started using it on my nicely seasoned carbon steel wok, it constantly catches and did not smoothly glide on the wok surface. Then i realized it caused all these deep scratches on the wok (see photo), because the edge on this turner is quite unfinished and rough. So good finishing+quality with the handle, but really poor finishing with the actual turner/spatula end.This is a nicely made and finished spatula except for the front edge which is square with sharp corners which catches on the wok to make scratches . I used a file and emery cloth to round out this edge and it now works very well.Nice spatula. Happy to have a one-piece the handle on my last spatula broke off. Reasonable price and quick delivery.Good quality but I dislike the slightly angled head.
