Not bad for the price I paid. Exactly the right shape to work in my cast iron wok. However, the handles on both the spatula and the ladle are loose. My husband reinforced them and now they are perfectThe wood does not have a good connection with metal. Rattles in your hand. Annoying.The rivet that holds the wood on is loose. It still works obviously but the build quality isn't that great. The price is right thoughOver all the materials seem to be fine, however the the wooden handles are very loose on both and have no easy way of tightening them up. You'll have to remove a rivet and probably use an epoxy like JB Weld to tighten the hold and replace the rivet. As they are, albeit not that expensive to begin with - this just makes them feel cheap and flimsy, but you get what you pay for. If I can't tighten the handles I'll just find a better set.Arrived loose a flimsy. I add glue and screw. It is better nowI read some reviews and saw pictures where the wooden part of the handle was detached from the ladle but decided to give it a go anyway. My ladle did arrive in tack, however the wooden part of the handle is slightly loose, not so much that it is bothersome or that causes any difficulty in using the utensil. This is my only con, other than that, the ladle is awesome for cooking in the wok, especially egg foo young. I was prepared to soak the handles, then seal, & reseat them, and to my surprise (and not mentioned in the description) the handles were already well-sealed and anchored with rivets.I prefer to work with two spatualas so I ordered the two-piece set and an extra spatula. Aside from the workmanship & care with the handles, the consistency of the finish & edges on all of the pieces was just right. Nothing to scratch any surfaces and the shape & balance was also consistent across every piece.Small and lightweight and sturdy.
