The large face on this spatula is sized for cooking and grilling, while the sturdy ridge ensures optimal stability for manipulating foods. The face on the spatula measures 3-3/4 x 3-1/4 inches and has an overall length of 10-1/8 inches. The face on the grill spatula is made 300 series high nickel stainless steel and has slots to drain grease while cooking. The handle on the grill spatula is comprised of a black stainless steel resin that can be washed in the dishwasher. Hand washing fine cutlery is recommended but this handle is dishwasher tolerant. Spatula is very sturdy. We put this in the dishwasher. Completely straight edge. Not completely rigid but I would not say it is flexible either. Made in USA :)This sturdy little spatula is the one I grab for first and use the most. Perfect size, washes easily and no rusting. Best spatula I have ever bought and I recommend it 100%.I've got several Rada pieces, but they're all in the brushed aluminium--which is beautiful, but you have to hand wash or it goes dull and oxidizes a bit (and no, you can't bring it back with steel wool or a wirebrush)...so I got this spatula to try out the black handle finishes... and I really like it. It's still solid feeling and comfortable to hold, but it's "dishwasher friendly" (love that phrase). I still hand wash it 90% of the time, but for those dinner parties when the sink is just overwhelmed with dirty dishes, I stick this in the dishbasket and don't worry about it looking bad or damaging the finish. Now I just need to replace all my aluminium Rada with this!I bought this spatula as part of a birthday gift for my grandson (also included are the ice cream scoop and 3-piece set of tomato slicer, paring knife, and vegetable peeler). I trust the Rada name and have several pieces of my own. It seems that everyone wants non-stick surfaced cookware but I also love my cast iron and stainless steel. This spatula is wonderful! Sturdy enough to flip burgers; large enough to make quick work of stirring/turning sheet pan meals; thin enough to lift cookies or flip pancakes with ease! Yes, I love my Rada.Quality products, made in the USA. I have never been disappointed with Rada products.I’ve used Rada knives and spatulas for years. They are very high-quality, easily sharpened and hold an edge. They are thin but flexible. One of the best fillet knives I have ever used. I cannot recommend their knives highly enough.Works great in our cast iron pans. Easily cleans in the dishwasher or by handwashing. A very nice size, flips eggs, pancakes, meats, etc. very well. Highly recommend!Sometimes a shorter handle makes it easier to work with, eggs easier to controlBought for granddaughter as part of a Christmas gift. She loves them. The black handles are best if washed in a dishwasher as the silver handles reacts badly with the dishwasher detergent. I have such a set but still use them. I think these spatulas as great. Have had mine for twenty years.
